Bug#587355: i915: X locks up when trying to play DVD on Thinkpad X40

[Jonathan Nieder]
> Thanks, Petter! That's good to hear.

I just tested with the kernel from Squeeze, and got a crash while
playing. Not quite sure if it is the same crash as earlier, as the
video projector is replaced with a small flat screen at the moment, and
the USB DVD player is replaced with a DVD ISO fetched over NFS. Anyway,
this was the dmesg output when X hung this time.

No idea, did not have time to debug. It normally happen when I only
have very little spare time to spend on getting movie playing, and the
kids do not accept to wait while their father debug it.

Happy hacking,
