It is certainly a kernel bug, whether it is related to the radeon driver
or not.

The function in which the crash occurred has been largely rewritten for
Linux 3.1, so if the bug is there then it has quite possible been fixed
by that.  Since you say this is not reproducible, I don't think there's
much point bothering the upstream maintainers to chase this down now.

I'll leave the bug report open in case you or anyone else finds a way to
reproduce it.
