Package: linux-image-loongson-2f Severity: wishlist Currently the kernel is missing various bits of functionality, such as webcam operation and battery monitoring. Googling, I found this functionality is enabled if a Linux Libre kernel is used. However I have not been able to verify this, since the kernel does not install on my machine. I kindly request that the patches available at the following URL be included in the Debian package: http://www.fsfla.org/download/linux-libre/lemote/gnewsense/pool/ -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: mipsel (mips64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-1-loongson-2f Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash

If there are some important bits missing from squeeze then we can think about backporting them, but someone has to identify what they are.
