That driver is a dangerous hack, because it can run on any computer and
not just the ones that have this type of switch.  Also, it doesn't work
with the standard 'rfkill' system.  However, it may be possible to
create a better driver that could then be included in Linux and Debian. 

Please can you provide the output of this command:

    grep . /sys/class/dmi/id/*_{vendor,name}
