If I sleep or hibernate on my Compaq Presario laptop A975 EM dual core laptop,
the fans stops working.
I can feel the palm rest heat up (either hard drive or CPU.
Rebooting restores normal function.

Thanks for testing; marking accordingly. To make sure this works in
squeeze, too, the following would be useful:
- Please attach the output of
/usr/share/bug/linux-image-$(uname -r)/script 3>&1
so we can get to know your hardware and drivers.
- If you get a chance to test the latest squeeze kernel, it would be
very interesting to hear whether it works.
