patches, please add yourself to the cc list at
<https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16991>.  dkg posted a
workaround patch there that could be useful, especially if tweaked to
use WARN_ON so the kernel could continue to print information to help
understand the bug when this gets triggered.
