Package: linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64
Version: 2.6.32-5-amd64

I'm unable to mount DVDs/CDs sometimes on 2.6.32.

Mount usually says "no media on disk".

In dmesg I see:

I know that the device and the media is good since it works in windows and mac environments. I've had this problem on 2.6.32 and 2.6.30.

This bug report now covers at least 3 different failure cases, of which
some are fixed and some are not. It is completely impossible to make
progress with such a bug report, so I'm closing it.

If anyone is still having trouble reading CDs or DVDs in the current
kernel version in stable (2.6.32-35) or unstable (3.0.0-1), please open
a *new* bug report.

Ben.
