Bug#629932: Happens to me with .39.1 , works with .38

I am having this issue too.
what should be noted: this is vanilla kernel, custom build, ARM
architecture.
adding eth0 to bridge is sometimes lethal and sometimes not.
these messages were obtained from serial console.
doing "ip a" made the terminal stuck..
even though sshd listens, I can't connect to it anymore..
If I put more interfaces in the bridge, the bridge works as if nothing was
wrong
