Bug#631567: [linux-source-2.6.39] Recompiled kernel crash on kms with radeon HD6670



No, I was wrong, freeze on KMS also with CONFIG_AGP=y, CONFIG_AGP_AMD64=y and CONFIG_AGP_ATI=y

When I can successfully boot the system, (or I boot with a precompiled kernel) I see
"failed to evaluate ATIF got AE_BAD_PARAMETER"
during the loading of KMS/DRM modules

I have attached the dmesg output of a complete boot with my custom kernel

Unfortunately I no longer have a kernel 2.6.38 to make comparisons with 2.6.39. I trusted at the first boot and I deleted the old kernel.
