Use vconfig to create a VLAN interface on top of the r8169 interface
(e.g. 'vconfig add eth0 2', creating interfacce eth0.2).  Do the same
on some other machine on the same LAN using the same VID.  Assign
addresses to the VLAN interfaces and try to pass traffic between them.
