Bug#627098: linux-image-2.6.32-5-686: rndis_host fails to recognize usb device

Package: linux-2.6
Version: 2.6.32-31
Severity: normal

I'm running squeeze and I have a usb communication device that my 2.6.32-5-686
kernel doesn't recognize. The device, called a PC Port, is manufactured by
2Wire, which is now part of Pace Plc. It functions as an interface to a phone
line based network using HomePNA technology. I use a 2Wire modem/router which
is also a usb device running HomePNA, and it is recognized by rndis_host as an
eth device, but my PC Port is not.
