Bug#627055: linux-image-2.6.32: ipw2200 periodically stops transmitting packets, needs to be reinserted

I'm not sure but I think this could be a firmware bug.

The firmware for this device is packaged as firmware-ipw2x00, which you
have not installed.  I assume you manually downloaded and installed
firmware instead.

I suggest you install firmware-ipw2x00, which should have the latest
version of the firmware for this device.  You may want to copy/move the
currently installed files (/lib/firmware/ipw*) first, so that you can
revert to them in case the new version is worse.
