Since upgrading to xserver-xorg 1.7.4, I have been unable to control the
backlight of my Samsung Q45 laptop.
I originally filed this against xorg-server as #569596, but was told it
is a kernel bug.
/sys/class/backlight is empty.
This bug is also present in version 2.6.38-3 of the kernel.
