Bug#621773: will not start since upgrade to 1.2.3
Package: nfs-kernel-server
Version: 1:1.2.3-2
Followup-For: Bug #621773
My issues got solved after adding the following to my /etc/hosts (and
additionally -- maybe unnecessarily -- restarting rpcbind, nis and
nfs-kernel-server):
-------- snip --------
::1 localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
-------- snip --------
I used to have these lines commented out, because long time ago, they
caused problems.
Side note: Upon running "reportbug -N 621773", I get this:
-------- snip --------
Verifying package integrity...

Do you still want to file a report [y|N|q|?]?
-------- snip --------
"aptitude reinstall nfs-kernel-server" doesn't make this message vanish.
