Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-alpha-generic
Version: 2.6.26-13
Severity: normal

Hi,

Right after the release of Lenny, I upgraded my Compaq AlphaServer DS1Â0 which was previous running Etch.

Everything went rather smoothly, until I tried to reboot the system: the new kernel fails to load.

aboot stops at "loading compressed vmlinuz", and then nothing happens. The previous Etch kernel (2.6.18) still boots just fine.

I'm not quite sure how to debug this, is there any specific info to provide?

HTH
