  I've also came across this crash. I identified quite well that it was being 
triggered by sid powertop (1.97-1), ie this doesn't happen when using squeeze 
powertop. I suspect it's somehow related to "Runtime PM for PCI Device ...." 
options.
  According to the backtrace, it's a kernel drm bug, this piece of code is 
complicated enough to not be trivial to debug and fix.
  Latest kernel I checked this problem existed was on my custom build 
2.6.37.2. I think it's doesn't happen exactly the same on 2.6.37.3, this is, I 
didn't had the crash in the 2 tests I did, but I found that there was some 
corruption somewhere in the graphics stack, not sure where, because I found 
the X behaviour flaky after my tests.
  Maybe the problem is fixed on 2.6.38. A RC of this kernel is already 
available in experimental, any volunteers? ;)
