Bug#614583: Keyboard fails to respond while starting Debian-Installer on Debian 6 "Squeeze" for PowerPC on a G5

Yes. As I said before, it's at that moment when it hangs up.

You're right: typing "install64" instead of "install" solves the problem.
Now the installer is loaded, and the keyboard works fine there.

Although we are not going to install Debian into that machine (while
this bug was being worked out, a colleague of mine installed MacOS X
into it :-(, this solved the problem. Which is what matters.

BTW: It would be nice if the bootloader showed the install options
(including graphical setup) in a more explicit way. I wasn't aware of
this *64 options until Ben told me about it.
