Greg Kroah-Hartman has just merged
	http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/gregkh/staging-2.6.git;a=commitdiff;h=b54a28a418b2730bf61554864fee3fb24f79e182
into staging-next (which will be in tomorrow's linux-next and end up in
2.6.39):

	MODULE_FIRMWARE("rtlwifi/rtl8712u.bin");

So rtlwifi/rtl8712u.bin, as already used in firmware-linux.git and 
Debian's firmware-realtek package is the correct firmware location.
