Package: kde Version: KDE 4.3.4 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable After a recent apt-get dist-upgrade, KDE-Desktop would start, remain intact for some 4-5 seconds and crash utterly, leaving the screen with psychedelic random patterns. Booting into squeeze with former kernel 2.6.30-2-amd64 makes the computer usable again. Looks like a kernel problem. Graphics come from Intel IGP G43 Chipset. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing-proposed-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
