Package: kde
Version: KDE 4.3.4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

After a recent apt-get dist-upgrade, KDE-Desktop would start, remain intact for some 4-5 seconds and crash utterly, leaving the screen with psychedelic random patterns.

Booting into squeeze with former kernel 2.6.30-2-amd64 makes the computer usable again.

Looks like a kernel problem.

Graphics come from Intel IGP G43 Chipset.
