Bug#576199: [Debian-eeepc-devel] [Acpi4asus-user] Bug#576199: linux-2.6: ATL1E does not longer work on EEE PC 900A

Could this also be what's keeping wi-fi and LAN from working on my 900HA?  Here's my post about it on the debian user forums: http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=50498
Currently I'm running Ubuntu because it works and debian doesn't (for me, with my current knowledge of linux) but I'd rather be part of the Debian community.

This problem is due to a new and buggy feature in eeepc-laptop.

Once a job is fouled up, anything done to improve it makes it worse.
