yep, have seen above on any linux-2.6 since I got this x61s.

please test 2.6.33 from experimental, not sure it is fixed.
hadn't time to check it myself, but according to 
2f301227a1ede57504694e1f64839839f5737cac it should behave much better.

aboves patch is huge and doesn't apply out of the box to 2.6.32,
but looks like a valid backport candidate, didn't check on what it
depends.
