Not able to load kvm_intel module. 
$ modprobe kvm_intel
FATAL: Error inserting kvm_intel (/lib/modules/2.6.32-5-amd64/kernel/arch/x86/kvm/kvm-intel.ko): Operation not supported

Dmesg says 
kvm: disabled by bios

Even if vm technologies are enabled in bios. It is ThinkStation E20, lspci output attachet.

You probably need to turn the power off and on again.  (This is not a joke.)
In any case, this is a firmware problem and not a kernel bug.
