Yes, running the glxinfo after updating only the intel-x-driver make the xserver crash, then gdm automatically restarts.
In /var/log/X.log.0.old i can see this error:

I've experienced this with both 2.6.32-20 and 2.6.35-rc6.

Julien, many thanks for working on this and providing this experimental packages. I hope we can find a reasonable solution for Squeeze.
