Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.9.1-2
Severity: important

Hi!

After going from 2.9.1-1 to 2.9.1-2 I started to experiment computer
freezes or weird things, all of them seemed to tell me that some memory
corruption was going on, can't tell much about it, only that I had to reset
the machine on almost every resume from pm-hibernate.

After reading the changelog I thought that kms was the biggest change going
on, so I commented the kms line at /etc/modprobe.d/i915-kms.conf and
everything seems find now, at least it seems as good as it used to be.

Machine is a Compaq Presario C760EM laptop running linux-image-2.6.32-2-amd64
version 2.6.32-8. Info about the video hardware should be down here, if you
need any other info just tell me.
