I'm running Debian Lenny update 4 on a Fujitsu Siemens desktop computer.
I've 2 major problems.
First off all, the machine boots very slow.
I'm blind, so I'm unable to see what happends before the braille display 
comes up.
And when it's comes up, everything works normal.
So, the problem must go away after the disk is mounted.
I'll include the dmesg later in this report.

Another strange thing:
I've a Nec internal IDE DVD-RW drive in this machine as hdc, and it 
doesn't appear in /dev, and is then unusalbe.
But, it appears in the dmesg.

This version of the Linux kernel and debian is the only OS these 
problems appear.
In Debian 4.0, and other Linux distros I've used on this machine, they 
didn't exist.
So, I think these problems have something to do with this kernel 
version/this version of Debian.

Thanks the the feedback, marking as closed in 2.6.32 for unstable.

Work is currently focused on polishing the kernel for the upcoming
Squeeze (6.0) release, so I'd recommend to stick with Squeeze or
use the Squeeze kernel in combination with Lenny.
