Hi,

Before the update of usb-modeswitch from version 1.0.2-1 to 1.0.5-1 and udev from
146-5 to 149-2, the Huawei E220 3G USB modem was detected as it is connected before
or after the login to Gnome. Today, I must wait for the login to Gnome to
connect the E220.

I commented the line "GOTO="modeswitch_rules_end" in file "80-usb_modeswitch.rules"
but it changes nothing.

The E220 is disconnected after the login to Gnome.

And I can connect to the network with NetworkManager.


I have the same problem when I'm connected to the network with the E220 and I insert a CD, the E220 modem disappears:
