Package: linux-image-2.6.26-1-686
Version: 2.6.26-1
Severity: normal

I use kernel's ath5k driver for my Atheros AR5413 based card. I'm always quite close to the AP, and iwconfig shows "Signal level=-57 dBm". Despite of it, the card often disconnects (about once in 10 min.) and reconnects again, and always works with bitrates like 1-9 Mbit/s. Trying to higher bitrate manually I get connection loss. This is not happening when I use madwifi (with 2.6.25-2-686 kernel). The antenna in both AP and station is OK, and other cards work OK with this AP, and mine also when using Windows (as MadWifi has other annoying bug, though is usable anyway).
