hmm this patch looks clean, not a real objection.

just missing a motivation, why one would want that?
do you have any refines since.

currently not sure why mailine initramfs-tools should care
about aoe or iscsi or fibre channel over ethernet,
but maybe someone else also wants to jump in for support!?
