Package: linux-image-2.6.24-1-686
Version: 2.6.24-7

Using this 2.6.24 kernel burning a DVD with growisofs. is
very slow. I can't see any error messages. According to the
trace the amount of data being written is tiny. It's
unusable like this. A backup that normally takes 25m would
take days to complete.

When I revert to kernel 2.6.22 (changing nothing else) the
DVD writes at normal speed.

This was already reported as bug #463610 which has been
archived.

Regards,
David Keegan.

No further feedback, closing the bug.

If this can be reproduced with current kernels, please reopen this bug.
