Well, isn't that why we have reportbug?
In any case, can we agree that the code bases have diverged to
the extent that a bug in linux-2.6 no longer translates to a similar
bug in k-p, and thus no longer needs to be cloned, unless there is
first hand evidence that the same problem applies?
I certainly think so, and thus no longer follow the
debian-kernel mailing list with any modicum of attention.
