Bug#550977: ahci: Workaround HW bug for SB600/700 SATA controller PMP support
Package: linux-image-2.6.26-2-686
Version: 2.6.26-19lenny2
Followup-For: Bug #550977
There is one bug in ATI SATA PMP of SB600 and SB700 old revision, which leads
to soft reset failure. This patch can fix the bug.
You can find the patch here:
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=bd17243a84632465f5403bc9eb8b4831bd67e582
It is possible to integrate the patch in the current lenny kernel?
The system freezes and it is impossible to shut down the computer. Sometimes I had to reinstall the whole system in due of filesystem corruption.
