Package: linux-image-2.6.18-4-sparc64
Version: 2.6.18.dfsg.1-12

After upgrading a SunBlade 100 from Sarge to Etch, the 2.6.18 kernel fails to boot after SILO loaded it. The screen shows:

Remapping the kernel... done.
Booting Linux...

flashes black and comes back to this. The machine looks hung because nothing else happens and the hard drive is idle.

I have also tried booting from the Etch CD-ROM but the same error happens (just like bug #419698).

My machine boots correctly with a nice console :) but the built-in Ethernet device doesn't work anymore... :( Could this be related to http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10273 ?

Marking 2.6.26 as fixed.
