Package: linux-image-2.6.24-1-amd64
Version: 2.6.24-4
Severity: important

When I upgraded to 2.6.24 the matrix mixer of my
RME Multiface II suddenly stopped working.
The card itself seems to be operational, but
I am no longer able to route signals from apps that output
audio to the actual output channels of my card, and
some input channels can no longer be routed to certain output channels.

For instance, I can route audio from the 5th analog input
to the 1st analog output, but I can not route audio from the
6th analog input to the 2nd analog output.

There were no obvious error messages or warnings in the dmesg.

I had to downgrade to 2.6.22-3 (which I was running previously)
to get my soundcard fully operational again.

I've been told on #lad on freenode that this is reproducible
by other RME Multiface users and alsa-driver 1.0.16 is supposed
to fix it, while 1.0.15 is what 2.6.24 ships with.
