I do not know what might cause this bug. However, the following might help to diagnose and fix the problem: 1. Boot with "notsc" added to the kernel command line 2. Boot from a live CD or rescue CD In each of these cases, please run "cat /proc/1/stat" to get CPU usage information and then send the result to this bug report.
