OK, Very good.  Please expand the title appropriately.  Or merge this
bug into the appropriate larger one.

Is there any further information I can provide to help solve the issue?

Interesting.  Can you identify the modules in question?  If so, I can try
loading them manually when I get the initramfs prompt and see if /dev/sd[abcd]
show up.
