Hi I have had 3 more crashes today, I have noticed it happens when I place it under load. all the times I had 2 VM (Virtulbox) going and I started a rm -fr (on about 300M of data) across a nfs mount share (on the same box), again the same error, I have also notices this is happening with xfs partitions ! I have upgrade to the latest linux-image 2.6.29-5 mike :- is you setup up xfs | ext3 on lvm on raid(1|5|6). have you done any tuning with blockdev or raid cache stripes ? alex
