Hey folks, I am tracking http://kernel-archive.buildserver.net/debian-kernel and would be keen to experiment with new kernel releases. However, when a new release comes out, like 2.6.30-rc*, it lacks the corresponding linux-kbuild-2.6 binary package, e.g. linux-kbuild-2.6.30 in this case. I know I am supposed to build this by hand[0], but that's quite an effort, and possibly duplicated by many people at the same time. [0] http://wiki.debian.org/HowToRebuildAnOfficialDebianKernelPackage#Thestoryoflinux-kbuild-2.6 Wouldn't it be possible to also upload the kbuild packages alongside the kernel image pre-releases to buildserver? Browsing the web, I found http://www.linux-archive.org/debian-kernel/209956-linux-kbuild-2-6-27-kernel-archive-buildserver-net.html. Is this still an issue? Would you let me upload for i386/amd64 if I built the packages? I am sure this would lead to many more people trying newer kernels and improve the overall feedback.
