Package: squeeze
Version: 2.6.26-1-amd64
The problem occured after upgrading from lenny to squeeze. I restarted
the system after about two weeks and the system was not able to
completely restart. As i didn't have a complete log of the
screen-messages, here is the stuff, i wrote down from the last screen:
[<ffffffff8039c1b6>] ? mon_bin_event+0x258/0x2d5
And similar messages like that one: A memory address followed by:
? mon_bus_complete+0x3c/0x64
? mon_complete+019/0x2d
? usb_hcd_giveback_urb+0x062/0xa4
etc.
The same also for:
ehci_hcd
task_tick_fair
handle_IRQ_event
handle_fasteor_irq
do_IRQ
net_fran_inter ?
After that it continues with:

kernel panic - not syncing: Aiee, killing interrupt handler
The last modules stuff i saw before these parts of the message came up
was the loading of hald and before the setting up of alsa and ACPI.
I still am able to start the kernel
2.6.25-2-amd64, but there is no graphics as obviously the nvidia graphic
is somehow bound to the 2.6.26-1-amd64 kernel.
Before the system worked fine.
The system is an amd phenom quadcore. I posted a question already in the
german debianforum, but it seems like the problem is unusual and will
not be solved just by the forum.
Nevertheless you can find the system configuration there:

Thanx for support
Bernhard

Sorry for the late reponse, we're a bit back-logged.
That Ubuntu release is based on 2.6.31, so this should be fixed in
the current Debian kernel as well. I'll close this bug.
Cheers,
Moritz
