Bug#559535: update-initramfs -d should also delete the backup file

Package: initramfs-tools
Version: 0.93.4
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

update-initramfs -d -k 2.6.31.6 should not only delete
/boot/initrd.img-2.6.31.6 but also the maybe created backup file
/boot/initrd.img-2.6.31.6.bak.

I would provide a patch if needed.

Hannes
