i'm happy to report that we've been running linux-image-2.6.26-2-xen-686 2.6.26-20 from lenny-proposed-updates for a week on one of our dom0 and two of our domU servers, and haven't experienced the mysterious hanging problem anymore. will start trying it out on more servers to see if we still experience the problem... live well, vagrant
