A capricious swap between harddrives that hangs the system it's a bug I think, overall if the debian installer assign mounts in /etc/fstab by device and not by label or UUID.So it is a bug in the installer, and fixed lately.
What do you think that "fixed lately"? Is this bug fixed? Why not change kernel as package which has a bug for d-i? Regards, Xan,
