It turned out, that it was just that me being too impatient. Before it took 8s to get to the password prompt and now it "waits" for 100s (after 11s) without any output. So once again, initramfs-tools works correct and the problem is ms. Thanks for your quick and friendly responses and sorry for the noise. –Adam
