When I try to boot with linux-image-2.6.29-1-686 (2.6.29-3) I get the error
scsi(0): RISC checksum failed.

Booting with the old linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 works.

I found some information at:
http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-scsi/msg34630.html

It looks like it is about the same error and that it is related to firmware loading and incorrectly built firmware.
