Bug#544461: linux-image-2.6.30-1-486: kernel failed to start : raid45: unknown target type

What do you mean by that?  The log shows the same kernel version as you
originally reported.

While the error messages may be annoying, if the system can boot and
mount all disks then I consider this bug fixed.

By the way, linux-image-686 or linux-image-amd64 will improve the
performance of your system over the -486 version.
