Bug#546809: [Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#546809: listing contents of remote directory does not show all content and can cause kernel panic

Yes, very interested, but I have been unable to replicate the problem from one debian box to another. I was able to mount the original share from a ubuntu box, so I'm guessing it has something to do with the software version on debian. It seems to have been fixed on ubuntu as the ubuntu machines using that share had no problems with it, so it's probably a matter of nailing down a particular patch. I can add another share on the NetApps SAN and try to reproduce the error, but I can only test it while I am at work unless I can reproduce the error outside of the NetApps share.

content and doesn't seem to cause errors??

Are you interested in trying to reproduce and find a fix for the bug?

Ben.
