Bug#543381: linux-image-2.6.30-1-686: Dell PowerEdge 2400 with PERC RAID 2/Si and 2.6.30, system locks hard
Package: linux-image-2.6.30-1-686
Version: 2.6.30-5
Severity: important
After an undetermined but brief (no more than 10 minutes) period this system simply locks hard when running the 2.6.30 kernel. After regressing to the 2.6.26 kernel and checking the raid controller, memory tests and operation for more than 12 hours everything seems fine. Booting into the 2.6.30 kernel results in more hard locks with no errors on console or in kernel logs.
The one notable hardware component in this system being the PERC 2/Si RAID controller which utilizes the aacraid driver.
