Although ath5k is loaded, iwlist detects no wifis.
Other people have the same problem: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=463353 (the latter bug is for madwifi, and people say that ath5k is not yet an alternative to madwifi because of exactly the problem I am submitting now).
