Version: 2.6.20-3
Severity: normal

I am not sure if this happens every time, but it has happened to me more
then once on two different Thinkpads: if I leave my USB headset plugged
in when I reboot, my Thinkpad a21m's internal soundcard ( Cirrus Logic
CS 4614/22/24) seems to disappear even though the driver (snd_cs46xx) is
loaded. If I bring up either kmix or gnome-alsamixer, the internal card
is not visible as a choice.

'rmmod snd_cs46xx' followed by 'modprobe snd_cs46xx' seems to restore
order.
