Package: cdrkit

Some audio CD's always lock my system when readcd initially accesses them. The
problem is connected to the cd's. They either work or lock the desktop. It is
duplicatable. I have reproduced the error from the command line. Here is the
info I have gathered:

simon> uname -a
Linux simon 2.6.18.2-34-default #1 SMP Mon Nov 27 11:46:27 UTC 2006 i686 i686

This is wodim, not cdrecord. Don't expect it to behave like cdrecord in any
way, don't refer to it as "cdrecord". Send problem reports to
debburn-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org, don't bother Joerg Schilling with any
problems caused by this application.

At this point the system is frozen and must be reset (I do not have another
computer to attempt to log in).

Any insight you can offer would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
