I decided to use the backports for lenny, so I uninstalled it and install 2.6.30-bpo.1-amd64. I was getting this error with 2.6.30-bpo.1-amd64 and 2.6.30-1-amd64, so I thought it was time to file a bug.

The package you are using is not maintained by the kernel team. Please
ask the backports people about them. I'll give some hints, but you have
to correspond with them. You can also use the packages from unstable,
which works fine on Lenny and then you will get help here.

Please show the complete fstab and the content of /proc/mounts. Some
things make me believe that you play strange things.

pdflush is a kernel thread used to flush pages from the cache out to the
disk.

Okay, this is obviously not the first one. The bug-flag is already set.
